Domaine le Monestier is the commercial brand of SARL LOREAU PRODUCTIONS
Originally, in 1932, the LOREAU family cultivated the Drôme flagship product : peaches.
Nowadays, its fruit production is more focused on apricots and Nashis.
The whole packaging process by LOREAU PRODUCTIONS is also located in the Drôme facilities which is the launching pad of all products dispatched to anywhere in Europe.
Fruit production : Peaches, Nectarines, Apricots and Cherries.
In 1985-1986, Domaine le monestier settled in the Crau region because of its privileged site, being the second sunniest region in France with 2923 hours of sun per year and an annual rainfall of 550 mm.
There it planted fruit-trees and developped activities of fruit farming with peaches, nectarines, apricots and cherries.
The history of Domaine Le Monestier olive oils actually began in 1998 when the company cleared an orchard located in the town of Fontvieille and started to produce its Baux de Provence valley AOC olive oil.
Two years later in 2000, after an experiment successfully carried out in the Baux valley, Domaine Le Monestier planted its olive grove in its Crau land to offer a wide range of single variety olive oils nowdays.
